Technology Center White Bear Lake, USA

Tech CenterIn the fall of 1999, Wilson Tool International®, Inc. opened a new 15,000 square foot Technology Center at our Global Headquarters in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, USA. This custom designed facility was opened in conjunction with our new European Headquarters and European Technology Center. It features fully operational, state of the art punch presses from Finn-Power®, Murata Wiedemann®, and Nisshinbo, and press brakes from Amada, Cincinnati, and Nisshinbo.

These machines permit us to perform live demonstrations of our tooling systems in an environment that is similar to that of our customers' shop floor. They are also utilized to support our ongoing research and development efforts and for customer and employee training.

Our new Technology Center also houses numerous displays of our state of the art tooling systems which include the Series 90®, Series 90® ABS, Series 90® WLS®, and Series 90® Fab tooling systems for turret punch presses, our High Precision Tooling System for Trumpf® punch presses including the recently introduced 2-4-1™ Tooling System, the entire Wilson Wheel® Family, our European (Promecam®) style press brake tooling system, and our recently introduced Wilson American Precision™ precision ground american style press brake tooling. Other products on display include punches coated with our proprietary Optima® coating, Slug-Hugger® dies, tool cabinets, and replacement machine parts from our Wilson Parts Service™ product line.

We have also installed a display of tooling from our Impax Tooling Solutions® division, along with high precision measuring equipment, enabling Impax Tooling Solutions® customers to physically compare for themselves the quality of punch and die components acquired from other manufacturers to punch and die components produced by Impax Tooling Solutions®.

This facility is also equipped with the latest in audio/visual technology as well as a customer conference room, which provides a private area for meetings and a convenient view of the show room where the punch presses and press brakes are located. It also has videoconference facilities that allow company employees to conduct videoconferences with managers and employees located at other Wilson Tool facilities around the world.

Our new Technology Center is located adjacent to our Global Headquarters making it possible for visitors to tour this facility along with our offices and manufacturing facilities without the need to travel to multiple locations. Sheet metal fabricators are cordially invited to contact us at telephone number 800-328-9646 or by fax at 800-222-0002 to arrange for a tour.
