 Q: I am punching small round holes in thick material and having frequent breakage on punches. What would you recommend?
A: A B-station one hole cluster, with minimal sharpening (for rigidity) and a premium UltimaŽ insert, can result in a 10-fold or more increase in production when breakage is the failure method. In a case like this, the premium insert has a reasonable replacement cost over that of a complete punch.
