Wilson Tool Launches WT Press Brake Tooling

New tooling line provides both Wilson Tool quality and faster lead times for Trumpf®-style and LVD®-style presses

WWHITE BEAR LAKE, MINN. (August 7, 2006) – Fabricators seeking tooling of unsurpassed quality and faster lead times for Trumpf-style and LVD-style press brakes can now get both from one source—Wilson Tool International. Previously available only as a special, the new WT press brake tooling offers a standard line of punches and dies for Trumpf-style and LVD-style press brakes.

The WT line offers ten standard punch profiles (120 to 220mm) and 17 different dies (6mm to 50mm) to Wilson Tool’s North American Customers. Special profiles, tip radii and tip angles are also available.

Faster Deliveries
With the launch of the WT line, fabricators get the shortest lead times and fastest deliveries with any style of press brake tooling—WT, European and American. Because WT tooling is designed and manufactured in the U.S., domestic customers receive special tooling orders more rapidly than current industry standards.

Longer Tool Life with Nitrex
For ultimate tool life, Wilson Tool provides its exclusive, patented, heat-treated process standard on all press brake tooling. Nitrex™ High Endurance Surface Enhancement increases tooling life by several times that of untreated tooling.

With a surface hardness of HRC-70, Nitrex adds lubricity to press brake tooling and lowers the coefficient of friction as the steel slides over the shoulder of the V-opening on a die. Nitrex-treated tools experience zero corrosion and faster cleanups, keeping tools healthier, longer.
