A New Lease on Life for Old Thick Turret Tools
Wilson Tool's innovative Quik Adjust™ Spring Packs revitalize punches
WHITE BEAR LAKE, MINN. (August 26, 2005) – Sheet metal fabricators are often faced with the challenge of reaching new levels of productivity without the advantage of new tools. For many, this task has proved nearly impossible. But now that goal is attainable with the introduction of Wilson Tool's Quik Adjust Spring Packs for thick turret punches.
Quik Adjust spring packs are an innovative way to upgrade existing metric Amada "Old Style" and Wilson Standard thick turret punch assemblies. Far from being obsolete, these older tool styles become highly productive with Quik Adjust.
Fabricators significantly decrease downtime when using Quik Adjust thanks to its fast push button adjustments. Rather than using shims and removing punches from the guide, punch length is now easily changed in a matter of moments. This provides an impressive productivity boost for shops used to the painstaking adjustment processes of the past.
Punch grind life also reaches an unsurpassed level with Quik Adjust. Punches are fully adjustable through a range of .250" (6.35mm). By maximizing punch use, fabricators can run their current inventory longer while spending less on replacements. The time and cost savings are designed to help fabricators better compete in a relentlessly competitive industry.
Quik Adjust punch heads and canisters are treated with Nitrex coating to increase strength and extend life. Quik adjust spring packs are fully compatible with A and B stations for metric Amada "Old Style" and Wilson Standard tools.
