Impax Ball Lock and Accu-Lock Products Now Available in Metric Sizes

WHITE BEAR LAKE, MINN. (June 1, 2005) – Ball lock stampers who use metric size tooling can now take full advantage of the products that are revolutionizing the stamping industry. Impax Tooling Solutions has expanded its HP Ball Lock™ and HP Accu-Lock™ product lines to include metric sizes, following the successful launch of its imperial size offerings.

The new metric High Performance (HP) Ball Lock and Accu-Lock products are engineered to significantly improve productivity levels during ball lock stamping. The tooling line, which includes HP Ball Lock punches, dies, retainers and HP Accu-Lock Retainer Inserts, excels in the most demanding stamping applications.

Metric HP Accu-Lock Retainer Inserts are an innovative yet simple solution for creating, modifying and reusing retainers in-house. The inserts hold ball lock punches in place securely and accurately with a simple straight line machined hole, ending the complexity of creating special retainers. Manufacturing retainers in-house provides stampers with the means to virtually eliminate lead times and dramatically reduce costs.
