WHITE BEAR LAKE, MINN. (Sept. 19, 2007) –As experts in the manufacturing field, leaders from Wilson Tool International were recently called on to share their insights on a range of topics in a pair of on-air interviews. Audio of the interviews is now available online in podcast and streaming formats.
CEO Brian Robinson participated in the Better Process Podcast, “The Voice of the Small to Mid-sized Manufacturing Firm.” Hosted by Ken Rayment, the podcast regularly interviews industry experts on topics affecting U.S. manufacturing. Robinson discussed challenges facing smaller manufacturers, how Wilson Tool addresses them and the growth outlook for the global manufacturing industry.
Chris Lawless, vice president of operations, took part in America’s Business with Mike Hambrick, an hour long radio show airing nationally in more than 60 markets. Produced by the National Association of Manufacturers, the broadcast features news, commentary and interviews with people who make America the world’s manufacturing leader. Lawless explained how Wilson Tool’s lean principles led to receiving the Manufacturing Alliance’s “Manufacturer of the Year” award.
