Wilson Wheel(R) Offers Flexibility and Performance

The Wilson Multi-Scribe™ sheet marking tool is ideal for an unlimited variety of sheet marking applications. Multi-Scribe can be used for both sheet scribing and dot-matrix marking on a wide range of materials, eliminating the need to change tools every time you need to make a different mark.

Unbeatable Accuracy.
A long-lasting diamond tip and variable scribe depth ensures the
accuracy of marks from logos to serial numbers. The unique design
allows for consistent mark depth even when surface variations occur.
And Multi-Scribe won’t deform the material or mark the underside
of the sheet.

Tooling Tip
Increase Productivity and Improve Quality with Effex™

Aside from coatings, are there any other options available to reduce galling?

Cylindrically ground punches can be subject to fracture on vertical impact in certain applications. By changing the direction of the grind on the punch, one can experience significantly less galling than other punches. By using Wilson Tool’s Effex™ surface finish you can achieve superior punchability, reduced galling and increased durability.

Effex™ punches are ground parallel to the direction of the punch, which reduces their susceptibility to wear and galling while significantly increasing punch life. Punches glide smoothly through the sheet, reducing build-up of loose particles while requiring less pressure for easier stripping. The result is a cleaner punch with a more accurate hole diameter. Easier stripping means less downtime and longer punch life, which is sure to increase your productivity and reduce replacement costs.

Contact your local sales representative or call 1.800.944.4671 for longer punch life and unmatched accuracy resulting from Wilson Tool’s Effex™ surface finish.
