Wilson Tool Launches Lean Seminar Series

Wilson Tool International shares insight about implementing a successful lean strategy with sheet metal fabricators and stampers.

WHITE BEAR LAKE, MINN. (June 6, 2008) – Wilson Tool International is now offering hands-on seminars to help sheet metal fabricators and stampers implement lean manufacturing principals in their fabrication and stamping processes.

Three years after launching their own successful lean initiative, Wilson Tool’s staff of lean manufacturing experts offer practical advice for applying lean thinking in punch press, press brake and stamping operations.

Seminar topics include planning Kaizen events, setting up lean cells, managing corporate culture and developing 5S programs. Wilson Tool lean experts share insight gained from implementing their own lean program and give specific advice for applying the same principles to sheet metal fabrication. A number of lean tooling solutions are demonstrated throughout the seminar. The seminar concludes with a presentation by a sheet metal fabricator that is successfully applying lean practices in its own operations.
