Wilson Tool Opens Doors For First National Manufacturing Day

Wilson Tool International to offer facility tour and presentation on Oct. 5 to raise awareness of skilled career options in manufacturing.

WHITE BEAR LAKE, MINN. (September 21, 2012) – Wilson Tool International will celebrate national Manufacturing Day on Friday, Oct. 5, with a presentation and tour of its manufacturing facility from 10 a.m. to noon at 12912 Farnham Avenue, White Bear Lake, Minn.
 
Wilson Tool is the world’s largest independent manufacturer of tooling systems for punch presses, press brakes, and punch and die components for the stamping industry. The company prides itself on lean manufacturing and is an excellent example of what 21st century manufacturing looks like.
 
The event is free and open to the public.
 
In addition, Wilson Tool will hold a career exploration night on Thursday, Oct. 4, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. The event will feature presentations by employees in various areas of the company explaining their positions and the path they took to get there as well as a tour of the facility. The company encourages anyone interested in a career in manufacturing to attend.
