WHITE BEAR LAKE, MINN. (Jan.11, 2012) – Wilson Tool International today announced that it has acquired Milling Puncionadeiras of Sao Paolo, Brazil, a manufacturer of punch press and ironworker tooling for the fabrication industry in Brazil.

“Wilson Tool has been doing business in Brazil and throughout Latin America for more than fifteen years,” said Brian Robinson, CEO of Wilson Enterprises. “This merger will allow us to augment our manufacturing capabilities around the world and better serve customers in one of the industry’s fastest growing markets.”

Milling Puncionadeiras is a privately owned company founded in 1982 by Juscelino Aleixo dos Anjos to manufacture high-quality punch press tooling and accessories for the fabrication industry. Today, the company is well known for its superior products and excellent customer service.

“As the fastest growing economy in Latin America, Brazil’s sheet metal industry is poised for significant growth,” said Jorge Martinez, Latin American Manager for Wilson Tool. “The merger between these two successful, well-respected companies will put us in a position to cultivate our existing relationships as well as introduce our products to new customers in the region.”

There will be no immediate change in operations for the companies. However, as the integration process moves forward the new business entity will be known as Milling Puncionadeiras, a Wilson Tool Company. Juscelino Anjos will continue to oversee operations at Milling Puncionadeiras.

“Partnering with a company that has the global reach of Wilson Tool is an exciting opportunity for Milling Puncionadeiras to gain the resources necessary to take our products to a broader customer base,” said Anjos.

With the acquisition of Milling Puncionadeiras, Wilson Tool now operates manufacturing facilities at the company’s world headquarters in White Bear Lake, Minn. USA, as well as England, China, Canada and Brazil.
