September 18, 2012

Wilson Tool International expands global manufacturing capabilities with acquisition of Italian press brake tooling manufacturer Toolspress.
SWINDON, UK. (September 18, 2012) – Wilson Tool International today announced that it has acquired Toolspress (TP Tooling srl), a manufacturer of premium press brake tooling for the sheet metal fabrication industry in Italy.
“Toolspress has a highly skilled workforce and more than 25 years of experience manufacturing quality press brake tools,” said Colin Blackwell, Wilson Tool’s managing director of European operations. “Under the continued leadership of Maurizio Zinetti, the company will remain a major supplier of tools to press brake machine manufacturers and their distributers around the globe.”
Established in 1984, Toolspress manufactures a complete range of tooling for most major press brake machines. The company operates a 5,200-square-meter manufacturing facility in Parma, Italy.
“I’m excited about the potential to grow Toolspress as a strong manufacturing business in the Parma region,” said Maurizio Zinetti, Toolspress managing director. “With a skilled workforce and excellent production equipment, I believe we have the capacity to increase our business substantially in the forthcoming years.”
Toolspress is well known for producing press brake tooling of exceptional quality and providing outstanding customer service and exports throughout the world.
“This merger makes it possible for Wilson Tool to expand our manufacturing capabilities in Europe while providing Toolspress with greater opportunities for growth,” said Brian Robinson, CEO of Wilson Enterprises. “There will be no immediate change in operations for either company. Toolspress employees and customers will continue to do business as usual.”
